Tetrahydrocannabiphorol (THC-P) is a potent, sativa-based cannabinoid. It is 30x more potent than most Delta-9 THC products. THC-P is said to produce a euphoric experience.
How is THC-P different from THC?
THC-P has a chain of seven carbon atoms compared to THC’s five carbon atoms. This means that it is more active in bonding with the body’s CB1 receptors. While two carbon atoms may not seem like a huge difference, this creates a psychotropic experience that is conceivably 30 times more potent than traditional THC.
Where does it come from?
THC-P occurs naturally in very small amounts in cannabis plants. The molecule is isolated using chromatographic techniques.
